My latest release is A Hunter Within. It’s a paranormal romance that came out this July and is Book 1 in the Alliance of Power Duology.

Synopsis:

**He’s the vampire king of the northern territories. She has no idea who she truly is. Together, they’ll take on an evil that threatens to destroy them both.**

My name is JULES PARKER, and I’m a Research Scientist. I landed an internship at Falcone Industries, the most prestigious pharmaceutical company in the country, though it’s not what I’d hoped. After all, there’s hardly a fine line between taking a volunteer and shackling someone down before injecting poison into their body. After secretly witnessing that horror, I’m in an uncomfortable situation.

Then, there’s SEELEY RONAN. Who is he, you might ask? Well, he’s a Vampire King. And yes, I said vampire. He saved my life, and now we seem to be … connected. He’s sexy, dangerous, and a major distraction, who says Falcone is run by rogue hunters who are harming innocent vampires in a quest for power.

Seeley is desperate to protect his people, and needs my help to do it. But that means turning my back on the only path I’ve ever known. My heart and mind are in a tug-of-war and with my heart quickly becoming his, it’s not likely I’ll be able to deny him.

What I do know is that I’m in way over my head. As long as I can keep it together, we might be able to bring Falcone down from the inside. But, my world is about to change in a big way, and I’m not sure any of us will be ready for what comes next.

A Hunter Within is available on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited!

Who are some of your favorite authors and books?

I was first inspired to write after reading the Ducie O’Neal and Julie Wilkins series from HP Mallory! They were such fun and different paranormal reads than I was used to reading at the time. I devoured the Premonition Series by Amy Bartol – she’s a fantastic urban fantasy / paranormal writer! I’ve been reading a ton of other indie authors lately too – romantic comedies by Laura Lee, contemporary romances and paranormal romances from Brea Viragh. I love finding other indie authors and I’m always so in awe of the talent of my fellow writers.

What’s your favorite genre to read?

I write paranormal romance and read it just as much! That is by far my favorite along with urban fantasy.

What gives you inspiration for your books?

I get this question so much, and to be honest, it’s hard to pin point. Sometimes it’s a combination of what I see via movies and am reading – at least tone of story comes from that. I can tell reading some of my work the types of music I was listening to at the time, or types of movies I was watching. Most of it though comes from my long commute to work. I have an hour and a half a day to daydream up ideas and I enjoy that quiet car time to think through new plots and twists!

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Oh, this one is hard. It will probably sound silly, but I get so annoyed when my stride gets broken as I’m walking lol. When it’s crowded and I get cut off, or have to stutter step, I get frustrated. That’s so random, but I’ve been that way since college when I’d walk around my busy campus! Now as a Mom it’s hard when I’ve got my kiddos in tow as well.

Who is your favorite character in your books?

These are some good, tough questions ☺ My favorite character is probably Ariya Adams, simply because she is the main character from my first trilogy. It took me years to learn how to finish her story, and it was the first time I tried to write. She’ll always hold a special place in my heart.

I have a character in an upcoming novel though that I think is my new favorite. I can’t say much, but his name is Logan and he’s pretty swoon worthy – at least to me ☺

Do you have anything you would like to say to your readers and fans?

I think the biggest thing I’d like to say is THANK YOU! I still can’t believe that there are people who want to read my books, and I’m so incredibly blessed to be able to write. I have met some fantastic friends in this writing world and I’m so thankful for that. To the readers who keep coming back – you make this adventure amazing, fun and push me to keep going. Thank you for your time, your friendship and your enthusiasm!

  1. I haven’t read a paranormal romance in forever! I use to love them, but for some reason I haven’t read one in a while. I’ll have to give this one a try!
