I recently had to upload a Microsoft Word document into my blog post. Of course, it seemed like the info out there was much more confusing than it really needed to be! As I take on this blogging adventure head on, I want to share the info I find to help others have an easier time! In this post, I’ll show you how to upload a Microsoft Word document to WordPress in 3 easy steps!
After trying a few different ways, I was told by someone to use the Mammoth.docx converter plugin. It was so simple & easy to do after adding the plugin!
First, locate the Plugins option on your WP dashboard. Once you find that, choose the option “Add New”.
The next step would be to search for Mammoth.dox converter. It should be the first option to show. Click on the plugin and hit the “install now” button. After it installs, there will be an option to click the “Activate” button. You can see what the Mammoth.docx converter plugin looks like below.
After the plugin says active, you should be able to go into a new post and at the very bottom of your post, there should now be an option to upload your word document.
At this point, the Microsoft Word document should now show in the content area of your post! Pretty easy, huh?!?!
Thanks for taking time to read my post & I hope you find it helpful!
